Who we are
Nexys (Pty) Ltd, trading as NexysCloud ("we"), runs this page as an affiliate partner of the AI for Business Summit. We are responsible for the details you type into our registration form. This notice follows the Protection of Personal Information (POPI) Act.
What we collect
- If you use the registration form: your first name, last name, email address, mobile number (only if you give one), the time you submitted the form, which button you used to open it, and the wording you agreed to. If your link carried campaign tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign), we keep those tags too.
- Whether or not you use the form: we use Google Analytics to count visits, how long people stay and which buttons they press. Google Analytics does not receive your name, email address or mobile number from us.
Why we use it
- To pass your details to AI for Business so you can register for the summit.
- To count how many people use the form.
- Only if you ticked the optional box: to send you news about NexysAI's AI tools and training. You can opt out at any time by emailing us.
Who else receives it
When you press "Continue to registration", your name, email address and mobile number are placed in the web address of the AI for Business registration page, so its form arrives filled in. AI for Business is run by Real Advisors, LLC in the United States, so this sends your details outside South Africa.
That page uses its own analytics and advertising tools, which can read the web address. Your details may therefore be visible to them even if you do not finish registering. How AI for Business uses your details is covered by its own terms and privacy notice.
The details we keep are stored in a database run by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, in Western Europe.
How long we keep it
We delete your details 90 days after the summit ends, unless you ticked the optional box. If you did, we keep them until you ask us to stop.
Your rights
You may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw your consent at any time. Email clientservices@nexysai.co.za. If you are unhappy with how we handled your details, you may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.
